.357 magnum 1911 Anyone????

One less caliber to reload makes sense. Ironically I wanted a S&W 625 to avoid reloading 357Mag (Reloading 9mm, 357, 44, 45 and 50 is getting a bit much and that's just handguns.).

If you're already reloading .357 but not .45 ACP, then it might be worth your while.

Thanks for the "Because we can" answer, is there another reason for a 357Mag 1911

Name another .357 magnum automatic.

Sure there's the desert eagle but I'll take this over the gimmicky eagle any day.

I always thought this was a common thing because I remember growing up in the Philippines back in the 70's, my dad had a 1911 type pistol, its brand name was Llama and it was interchangable for .45 and Super.38 ammo. All that is needed was a change in the barrel, and of course the mags.
