No got it just like that gave it one rub with tung oil and that was it. The rifle itself was given a Belgian B barrel and is a holes touching rifle at 100 yards. I have everyone of those rifles sighted in to MPBR and they are all spot on, hundreds of hours getting the sights so they all shoot the same. The Russians by modifying rear sight slider, the Fins with tall sights adjusted, all basically zero at 25, 3 inches high at 100, spot on again at 200.
