Just Ordered A Tavor

You are going to like it! What are you thinking of running as an optic? I went with an ARMS 35QD mount with 35M rings and a Bushnell Elite 6500 1.25-8x32 scope. I use the Tavor for hunting, so I wanted a scope... LOTS OF FUN!

A Tavor is on my list... and even more so, after experiencing the silly wait times for a "Retail Store" restricted transfer to me.

I am waiting though for my "contact" to get them slightly cheaper than the $2750 so common around the Vancouver area.

I'm also looking for an EOtech.. but.. geepers... they are expensive in Canada (my pet peeve).
 
They had 10 at Reliable last Thursday... not sure if any are left (one needs to call as you can't rely on their web site since they sell fairly fast).

not sure what optic yet, i was thinking a aimpoint mini or eotech, but i was also considering a short dot of sorts...

Well I'm deployed at the moment, i will be home in march, pretty sure i could run to the corner store and pick up a AK, but the CO may frown at that...
 
lol sorry, just saw Canada, West and knew they just hit the stores this week. Either way congrats you will have a awesome little toy waiting for you when you get home.

As far as sights go for myself I just found what I have to have when I was in Wanstalls this afternoon. Dan mounted one up on a Tavor from the wall and it just fits the rifle so perfect. Trijicon SRS201 amazing little sight, I must have it.

I was there picking up mine, another guy had just paid for his and dont qoute me but Im sure Gary asked Dan if that was it and Dan said theres one more, plus possibly the one on display.
 
You're going to love it!

I run an Eotech on a riser, a flaming pig and sometimes a 3X magnifier.

Well guess what, I ordered mine 3 days ago and I'm in Afghanistan!!!!!!!!

I bet we aren't the only one deployed buying new toys hahaha
