Best Sales pitch on EE

I saw a ad, and its still up. The guy says he got the rifle with shipping and taxes for under $800. He's asking $800 plus shipping firm. Lol
 
I really like the "I need to sell this fast to fix my truck, atv, insert motorized vehicle here", and then don't get back to you for a week and a half, but can still bump it to the top every other day.

I saw one of those and when I asked for pictures he never got back to me...........so I stalked him....everytime he btt'd it I asked for pictures again................pitty the guy who bought it if it ever sold as I never got a picture or a reply from the seller......

My next add will say camera is broken.....selling this to raise money for a new camera, if you want to know what it looks like use google........
 
My favorite ones are the ones that say "Google is your friend" and have no pictures. If you're too lazy to post a picture or even offer to email one, how is anyone supposed to trust you actually have the item?? What are you trying to hide about it by not offering any pictures of the actual product??

Or how about "No tire kickers pls". so you will get offended if I don;t immediately buy it after I make you go to the inconvenience of e-mailing me pics you should have posted in the ad?

My personal favorites.......

"Pmags. Willing to pay up to $30." (They sell in no time flat for $40 plus dollars)

"Mint Condition.....except for a couple of scratches" (If it has scratches it isn't mint!)

"Local sale only, do not want to ship" (Location not shown in profile or in ad.....have to PM to find out where they live)

Ultimate Favorite

"WTB...Beowulf Mags" (I don't think anyone is gonna give these up for any price)
 
"4 pmags used but in good condition 250 dollars shipped" ... Vultures kill me people who buy stuff with no intentions of using it but only buying it to cause a shortage or get some of the first ones out and asking triple the price... There's also a retailer that has lost all my respect in an EE ad for something similar but I'm sure ill get in trouble for going any further ... But it won't take you long to find it....

I had a guy selling AR parts in a pack of 5 random things for 60 dollars shipped .... I messaged saying I only want these 3 and will pay you the 60 dollars (don't want to bother with extra parts because it leads to extra guns ) I get a message back thats says "don't want to separate sorry ... Really....
 
The one that always gets me is the guys who don't add pictures to there ad. Now I know it is hard for some people to figure out how to do this. They say just ask for pictures, when I do I get one picture of one side of the gun and generally it is of so poor a quality that you can't tell anything by it anyway. Do they think that the gun does not have another side and a top and bottom and a front and back side or what?

Also the ad of the S&W 686 with the rare 5 inch barrel lenght that he wants $1200 for and you can buy it new for approx $850 but I guess that is what happens when you have a rare gun.

I had a rifle FS, but didn't bother bumping it for about 3-4 months. I figure if someone wanted it, they'd run a search and find it.

Well my add was deleted, I can't find it. Is there a time limit for EE activity? Anyone know what that limit is?

I asked a guy send me pics of his pistol and I actually think he placed it on a scanner. I didn't even know that was possible, but I guess it worked. I ended up buying it haha.
