I was looking on the Westrifle website at their Refurbished SKS's and was wondering why are they so cheap? Are they poor quality?

Maybe I should clarify this. I'm not suggesting Westrifle has poor quality rifles. I'm just wondering in general about SKS's and why they sell for so cheap.

You sound like the guy that told me about CGN & SKSs... I know but it could be bad timing for me to get one. We'll see, I have a feeling I'm going to get it. For the price can you really go wrong?

Edit: lol you said buy "one" yeah because this post proves people only buy one SKS.... ;)

Westrifle has some of these best to choose from. The sks was mass produced and sitting in bunkers since the 50's. that's why they so cheap

If you were the Russians and you've got a few million of them sitting useless in warehouses, and someone offers you $10 a go for a couple of thousand of them, you'd probably say yes too.
 
WHO SAID REFURBISHED AND WESTRIFLE IN ONE SENTENCE? All jokes aside what you see on westrifle is not refurbished. If it is we will say refurbished in description. Those are unissued. Ask before buying just to be sure.

I will buy 10 000 from you right away if it is for 10 dollars. I just want to say to the public 10 dollars for SKS is left in 1980 and 1990. Russians have internet now they can see the price USA and Canada sells them. I know we are not the same as USA but for them it does not matter. We are not greedy dealers of Canada who makes 190 dollars from sale of SKS. People please understand that there is many factors involved in bringing those that you can not even imagine. Now to those who see Russian sks for cheap grab them buy them and store them. They will go up in price as soon as summer/spring 2013. I warned you all the era of cheap sks is going to end soon. Same thing that happened with Enfields and K98. Do not say I remember when those were 200 dollars and now those are 350 or 500. Buy now. I am not saying that because I sell those. I am almost out. I am saying see those for cheap price at Tradex, Frontier Shooting Edge, Canadian tire or Wholesale Sports BUY THEM. Now if I told you to buy from my competition what does it tell you think and act today.
We still sell unissued quality rifles that will go in price. Supply decreasing now and all the dealers will feel that soon. posts like where the SKS go will start in about 2 month time.

the only hard part is not handling it so much the wife gets jealous
