I have MagPul 30 pinned at 5.
I have been told I can legally buy a 10 round hand gun mag that fits a Colt 6920 and it is still legal because the legality rests on the mag not the riflre


New to this. Appreciate your input
 
Yes, you can.

Please do a search and you'll find a lot more info on the legalities of the 10 round LAR magazine.

When you do the search, remember to extend the date back about a year - two weeks isn't enough.

But it's very important that you do NOT shoot into space with the 10-round magazines, ONLY with your pinned 5-round mags.

Just like you can buy 10rd mags for Remmy 7600 pump, Remmy 7400 and 750's semi's are built with the same reciever....mags fit. Still remember the good old days shooting out at the sand pits with our Mini-30's +30rd mags, and Chinese surplus ammo for 2.39/box. Have to give a big thanks to the Libirals for ruining fun days of endless shooting fun.
 
How didn't this thread turn into a flame fest? Weird... oh and there's 10 round XCR pistol mags with nice orange anti tilt followers too but I don't like how the markings aren't stamped like the LAR mags
