i am looking for a new trigger for my AR. i'm not worried about it being adjustable or very light but i wanna get rid of the long travel and have a real good brake.

anyone can recommend something and were to buy maybe?

thanks

Geissle SSA. Easy install, and night and day compared to stock. ArmsEast has them listed, but out of stock. Wolverine may be able to get them.

also i noticed it says small pin large pin? does anyone know what i have in my CDX-15 lower? i used a DPMS parts kit on it?

Definitely Geissele (but not cheap)...but if you're looking to go economical...then think ALG Combat or Spikes Battle Trigger (both very good but hard to find right now).

i have been looking around and i think i might go with a timny trigger. they are a little less then the geissele triggers and i like the no fuss set up.

anyone know if these triggers fit milspec lowers? or are they only for AR10?

Armalite AR-10/M-15 Tactical 2-Stage Trigger

Do you want a single or two-stage trigger? Perhaps a better question would be: in what type of AR will this go into?

Light pull weight or more of a standard (i.e combat) trigger pull? I understand you said you're not worried about it being very light, but its not very clear imo.

Standard (curved) trigger bow or a flat bow? Only Geissele offers that, which I think is a fantastic feature.

If you can better define what you need, you'll get suggestions that better meet those needs.

Geiselle ssa-e. 10 min install if you can sit in front of your comp and watch the you tube vid.

Armalite AR-10/M-15 Tactical 2-Stage Trigger

They fit. I have the Armalite 2 stage match trigger in my NEA lower and it feels great. Nice smooth and light pull after the 1st stage.

The timney is better than the ssa or ssa-e in my opinion. Shorter, crisper reset on the timney...
Timney or s3g get my vote, they're both great triggers.

i am useing the gun for target shooting. up to 300 yards. it looks like my only options are for the timney trigger at $250 or the armalite NM trigger at $160. i dont have allot of money so the $80 difference does make a difference. do you guys think its worth it for the single stage timney?
putting them in the gun is no problem and i take care of my stuff so durability doesent matter.
