So, when has buying SKS's become an addiction?

On another note, got my membership to the range today too, gonna head out and burn through some rounds if its even remotely decent on Tuesday!!

The way I see it.. they won't be getting any cheaper, and what else can you buy for 150-200 that performs this well ? Slap a Tapco tacticool stock on a few and you'll be laughing.

I only wish I would have got the SKS bug sooner !! for the money Ive spent on AR's, long rifles and handguns, I could have gathered a rather large arsenal of SKS's lol

I now have a 49, 53, and a 55 hardwood getting shipped tomorrow. Waiting on my Chinese from Marstar when they find what I am looking for :). And we have a collectors gunshow in 2 weeks in town:(. Could be an expensive month!!!!

Buy them four at a time, put one on Visa, one on M/C, pay cash for one and debit for the last one . When the bills come in she will look and see x firearms 179.99 and you can say oh that's that SKS I bought. The bills rarely show up at the same time so you can get away with it for a while .when she buys shoes and tells you they were on sale and it was only 60 bucks she is probably doing the same thing anyway .

Ps.you might have to cancel the online billing and request paper bills for that to work better .

If the same guys from the Yorkton gunshow are there, look for a Chinese Norinco SKS-D. It was marked "Made in China" and "7.62x39" only on the receiver. It is complete and in excellent condition and only wants $425 for it. Beware of the guy with the M1-D Garand sniper repro. He has a SKS-D for sale too, don't buy anything from him. He is full of it. He tried to convince me that it was a real M1-D "oh everyone thinks only Springfield and Remington made them, but I have a rare Harrington & Richardson M1-D" he also tried to convince me that his Yugo M59/66 was a real Bosnian sniper. It had Tula side mount for a PSO scope on it. I called him on it, but nope. Thick. Gunshow rant off

You aren't an SKS nut until you have double digits and more than one or two country varients haha.

And Walleyed.... Wait until you find that M44 in the EE ad you posted. So many Mosin Nagant styles too, even in the M44/M38 realm.

Red rifles are like potato chips. Can't have just one....

Five is no more than a start! As said, 10 starts the warning signs. I've focussed on 1949's and Izzy's, the rest can come later. Do need a 1951 though....

Waiting for my 55, Non refurb, looks unissued. looks very nice, talkin to a fellow cgn about a 51. waiting on pics ;). that will make 5, since Feb14th, half way to addicition. :) see ya there soon.. On a better note, the better half bought a ponton boat, so that should buy me some leeway..

I think these are his Tula's and he has just as nice of a set of IZYY's too... Envious :)

Sorry for stealing the pic, its just soooooo Nice. :)

Buying sks is like doing crack.. If you could do the crack 10 000 times over and still sell it for as much or more money than you bought it for.... That's good crack
