where are the 10/22 takedowns?

Peoples buy them 2 at the time ( i did ) when they showed up, that why they never hit the shelves... JP

Yep. Along with every other kind of 10/22. No one likes to keep them, for some reason.

That i dont understand, must be a lot of unlucky nutter, mine is at 700 rounds of Stingers in the TD and Butler creek steel lips and i had one malfunction on the first mag, after that absolute perfection, great little takedown rifle, that i can now put on par with my Marlin Papoose... JP.

I'm one of them Ruger-haters. :p

I was pointing out how the gun everyone seems to insist on raving about is the one they seem to try and get rid of the most often.

Hmmm I have heard that some of them are suspect. thats why im keen to buy new and make sure its all warrantied up. I understand that they need a break in of a few hundred rounds and that is all good. But right now i have an SR22 which is cool as all #### but its so damn heavy that it makes a nice genocidal squirrel walk into a test of testicular fortitude. So the light take down looks good. that or on of the heavy barrel tacticals. they look fun and small.

Just saw one in a sponsors store for $550!!!!!
I'd sell mine for less than that, and I've already put some goodies in it. I guess supply/demand is hitting the retailers.

mine is on the couch next to me.......time to clean... .. probably about a brick through it so far.... shoots great, feels great, looks great...... now to lighten the trigger....

I bought one at the local gun shop and I stayed there handling a bunch of guns for about an hours. 3 other poeple bought one while I was there and I got the last one :).

they never stay too long on the shelf...

I have about 800 rounds throught it with BC steel lips mags and so far only 3 jams. I wasn't me handling the guns and I am pretty sure that it jammed because the shooters were mainking pressure on the mag.
