I just both a cz 858 pinned drum on zahal just taught id give you guys a heads up that they are back in stock
 
The pic I saw on Corwin's website showed both types which is confusing. The rear-loading Chinese pattern is superior due to ease of loading and the ability to relieve spring tension for storage. Of course both points are moot with five round capacity but seems people buy based on the hypothetical, so there you go.

Another advantage of the Chinese pattern drum is the pin/rivet can be hidden under the right latch to make it less visible.

I just ordered one from Zahal myself last Sunday..having it sent ems..how long did it take to arrive if you dont mind my asking..

They say it will be the same one in the Zahal video. That's a rear-loader.

That sounded wrong.

Got my drum from Zahal yesterday. Very solid and well built. Packaging was a bit of a joke, a pouch, no box, mag wrapped in saran wrap, but it's tough enough that it had no damage or scratches, despite coming from Prague, Czech Republic. Thanks Zahal, now if the zombies come in a bus, I'll be ready.

hey J, what was the total cost of that mag and how long did it take to get here ?

coming from praque makes me want it even more .

It was $195 plus $40ish s/h. Came to $252 I think... I ordered on the 5th, and received on the 14th, so 9 days. Wow, faster than most things I get from Ontario. My average time from Czech republic, Beleurus or Israel, is about 10 days.

Mine came in today the gf tell me. It seems there was a tear on the package, custom peeking?, il take a pic later.

did you notice wolverine is now offering drum mags at $195 ? with tax and shipping it probably cost the same.

i wonder if the wolverines mags are from prague ?
