I've been on a not-very-well-deserved 4 month ban imposed on me by the CGN moderating team and this is the first time I've had a chance to post this.
This thread is for all of you "HERP DERP my (insert Canadian manufacturer here) AR has minor flaws!!!!" people.
Here's a few pictures I took of my Noveske lower that I bought from a CGN sponsor (whom I will not name because this doesn't reflect poorly on them; and if you can figure it out by yourself (not that it matters), he was awesome to deal with - for the record) in November of 2012. It was sold to me as factory new model and sent to me in the factory packaging.
I'm posting this because before I left.....ummm.....I mean was forced to leave for saying things that were TRUTHFUL.....there were quite a few threads regarding a certain Canadian manufacturer and some pretty minor flaws on their products. I'm not sure if any of that has died down at all or not; but I'm only here to say that although I'm not defending any Canadian manufacturer, EVERY COMPANY puts out products that have stupid, minor flaws that aren't worth stroking out over.
Noveske is recognized as a top-top shelf US manufacturer. If they can make mistakes, anyone or anything can. Just remember that I paid a premium for a premium lower and I received exactly what I paid for and am NOT complaining. If the top-top shelf US manufacturer puts stuff like this out, I don't understand what all the complaining and whining about what a small local company is trying to do with a smaller market and (I'm assuming) higher costs.
OH NOEZ! MINOR PITTING! SOMEONE CALL 9-1-1!!!
ONOZ OMG!!!! INCORRECTLY MILLED TRIGGER GUARD!!!! I'M SUING FOR MENTAL ANGUISH!!!
Proof that this is NOT a factory second "chainsaw" model
OMG ONOZ!!!! MILLING MARKS!!!! I CAN SEE MACHINE MARKS ON THE MAG WELL!!! FEED RATE TOO HIGH/SPEED TOO SLOW!!!!!! (as per CGN experts) I'M STROKING OUT!!!
