.50 Beowulf Mags?

Has anyone seem these in stock anywhere? I'm Hoping to grab a few and I don't remember which site sponsor sells them?
 
ahh thats what I was wondering. I forgot the name. Do they sell the Alexander Arms ones? or do they have there own?
 
Armtac was doing preorders for 3x Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf polymer magazines, but they've a now stopped. Only place to get em is on the EE for super awesome prices.

Are these the ones from Alexander Arms? I was looking at there site and it says the ones they sell don't fit .223.

No, it will not.

So are they just saying that or are they imported then modified to fit the .223?
 
... No they are lying to avoid the connection being drawn that these are actually origonally designed for 223 .... Don't even get me started

Armtac sell Alexander Arms only as Alexander Arms is the only maker of anything .50cal Beowulf as they own the trademark.

Armtac and Alexander Arms is saying that because the mags were designed for the .50cal beowulf round only. Its only a coincidence that they take .223win. If Armtac advertised this magazine as a .223 mag then the rcmp would prohibit it in a heartbeat. Also if the mags were advertised as being able to shoot .223 and people start buying these mags left and right, Armtac would hear a #### load of #####ing and complaints if these mags don't happen to work as well as some people might think. If Armtac denies that these mags don't work for .223win and people keep buying them, Armtac cant be held responsible if they don't work well in a .223 rifle.
 
I really.. Truly think that before any money changes hands for a preorder spot we will either see, Chinese made mags in massive quantities or, the mags will be banned on account of their similarity to the 556 mags, size contour follower ect. Or better yet all the liberals will move to gun free Mexico and live in their utopia and we will have no mag caps again

That's like banning Glock .40 Magazines because it just happens that you can shoot 9mm with them. If they banned the Beowulf Mags they would have to completely re-write the current Magazine laws they have already instituted, not to mention ban the 50 Beowulf platform entirely as they would be rendered useless without Magazines. Not going to happen.
 
The glock 40 mag was made for 40 ... With a 40 follower and 40 feed lips ... The 50 is a 223 mag ADAPTED to 50. So in my mind that means it would be capped to 5 rounds of 223 ... You guys really crack me up trying to convince yourselves these are not 223 mags ... That being said there are the mags with the different follow, the large contoured one I can see it being allowd

Exactly. I was at the shop the other day and was asking about them and they had some for sale. When I asked What the looked like the guy got one out and was ready to ring it up like I would really pay $250 for it. I thought they went for like $50.

All these things that the price gets driven up because they are cool now or people want them now you can still get for a good deal if you are patient. I'm sure Armtac will have them in again for $50 or someone will come up with a knock of and they will be everywhere. All the people will be kicking them selves.

I spent like over $150 for 3 pmags less then a few months ago. Today I found them for $21 bucks again and got 10 for like $220.
 
They are worth it for people who shoot 3-gun. Now I won't need to wear a vest to have enough ammunition on me for a course, just a RCS moduloader frame with 2 TACO's running off my belt for 48 rounds. Boosh.
 
I am not ashamed to say I just bought one (from a fine fellow) on here for much more than 50 dollars. Supply and demand... I don't expect armtac to get any anytime soon, but my spot on their waitlist remains.

I buy things like this for 50% fun/freedom and 50% to give a finger to the anti's.
