I keep telling myself I am only going to keep one and the other will be an investment or gift piece. But I know thats a lie. As for the ammo, well IMO you can never have too much, as long as you have the space that is.

I'll leave this for others :) I was super tempted to go for it, but I ran across a SR1911 that I just couldn't pass up instead.

Although, as awesome as CanAm is, they'll probably release a package deal of a SR1911 and 1000 rounds for $700 or some other obscene price.

Well, they did have a SR1911+1000rds. for $999.99, but they're sold out.
Probably didn't have a whole boat load of 'em, though!:)
 
I just phoned cfc to see if the transfer was completed. I bought the first day of the deal and I was informed it had not even been started! Not complaining just saying. My payment came out Monday I believe and no transfer started. I've posted it before but I will do it again

When there is an exceptional deal in which the vendor makes profit because of the sheer huge number of sales I think it is reasonable to have a big delay in processing or initiating transfers. Just saying.
 
I called when I ordered and was told 3 weeks turn around on my order. Fine by me. I know what to expect so I ordered.

Maybe give it 3 weeks (plus if you live in a prov with a slow ATT process).
 
If your REALLY hard up for something you will usually find you pay more for it. Rarely do good things come FAST. Look at the T97... good thing but had to wait.

You know what they say:

Good
Fast
Cheap

You can only have 2. In this case, good and cheap but not fast. If you NEED a 1911 or 1000 rnds of 45acp there are other places you can have them NOW. But your going to pay more than $500 for them. So place your order, put your feet up and have a tea. Or, place your order, grab your other guns and go out shooting. Either way, it'll help pass the time.

Sage advice to be well-heeded, especially by those who NEED to have things within a specified time period. If the items aren't NEEDED by a specific, then no point in complaining, since time-to-process when major bargains are offered is very well known. As said many posts before, if you don't like it, go elsewhere! :)
