CSA VZ-58 Non-Restricted 7.62x39 with M4 stock

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if the CSA VZ-58 Non-Restricted 7.62x39 with M4 stock is chrome lined or not? Also is the m4 stock commercial or military tube? Could you also remove the m4 stock and put a standard folder in it's place?

Yes, it's chrome line barrel, the tube is commercial and yes, you can remove the stock and replace with folding tube, can be bought from co-winarm. Hope it help.

All non restricteds are NOT chrome lined. Most Of the restricted length 7.62 are chromed but some of the .223 are not.

The CSA has a chrome lined barrel, the regular CZ does not.

None of the CSA vz58 non restricted models have chromed lined.
I asked the manufacture itself.

My experience as above as well, changed out the M4 stock for a folder within a week.

That's a bit of a piss off. Just bought one today, and specifically asked whether it had a chrome lined barrel or not, and the answer was a definite yes.

Won't be shopping there again.

I have fired a ton of nasty corrosive in my csa vz58 and cz858. Clean it and you will have zero issues. Only used g96 and wipe out foaming bore cleaner never used water.

No chrome lining on csa's. I have two of them and no chrome linig. Do I care? Nope. They are just sweeeet guns. Chrome would be nice, but for all practical purposes. It doesn't make much difference.

Ive also shot 3500+ corrosive thru my first 858, and i dont even clean it as much as i should, its more of a game to me now as to when it will fail haha.

You must be very patient haha. I second using wipeout for the 858, its so much easier and prevents corrosion. Just remember to plug the gas block before filling the bore lol.

C/L barrels *ARE* available on N/R Vz. 58s.
You have to specify that option, and it adds ~150 bux to the cost.

supernova, what are you using to plug the gas block with, cork, cotton balls what???

I use blue shop towels for the brunt of my gun cleaning so I just pack some in the gas block, then I wrap a strip around the straw and pack it into the chamber when I fill the bore to keep it from foaming back into the action. It seems wipeout has no interest in the front half of the barrel once it finds that gas port

Where have you seen this? There are no chrome lined CSA barrels in these guns.

Mine has a chrome lined barrel...the part number has a CHR in it (on the box) ... gun are in and around 1100...
