Actually, he was more than likely trying to eat him. Them dang things are cannibals and that's the best part of shooting early in a n we field. Whack one and then wait for the so-and-sos to come out and check and start to eat. Then ya whack them when they are not looking.

Just took a look at my records. This date last year, I was at 90. This year, at 3. There is still 3 ft of snow in most fields.
 
Kevin: is that FFG? Can't see if it says exactly what's in the can.

The trailer should have room for the Bunn, bit not much else. Tiny little thing (especially the awning), and I think a Ranger probably could handle it!

Ps. I saw Princess in town the other day...apparently he's working just south of here. Didn't get to chat much, so I'll have to track him down...anyone have his number?

I just checked mine to. I was at 107 by the end of April last year. I've kind lost track this year but it would have to be around 40-50 or so.

Though I could probably triple that pretty easy if this whole "being employed" thing didn't get in the way all the time!
They're running around all over out by the plant, but the company has rules I can really only bend on the weekends when there's no one else there to see it...

Hey gentlemen. And the rest of you too. Sorry for the late post, haven't been on the forum much lately. But I am still planning on coming out this year! Sent out a vacation request form today, just waiting to hear back but I am certain that it will go through. Hopefully this year I will convince my buddy to come along. Not on the forum yet but I will have him rectify that immediately.

Anyways, I will start stocking up on ammo and bugspray! Can't wait to silence some squeakers!
 
Hey all, I was just looking at my countdown app & there is 62 days till the weekend. Time is flying. So if there is anyone else interested adding to the Ernie Rifle Fund, send me a PM.. I would still like to raise a little more before going shopping. I plan to do that not long after I get back from Africa in mid May!
 
Just over a month left guys!
I've been whacking quite a few at work, but only a handful at a time. Enough that one if the land owners gave me a brick of American Eagle hollow points for my troubles though.

Going to start getting stuff together for the big weekend soon. It'll be her before we know it again.

Can't wait!
 
We are getting ourselves ready too....again we will be there the weekend before to start getting things ready.

And looks like I will only be there for Friday noon, until Saturday afternoon :(

Whaaat? We're seeing you less every year. Send me your boss's phone number so I can sort this out with him.

We've been slowly getting ready for a couple weeks now. Of course we have to have some new equipment every year (remember the Ikea trailer?) The reloading is saved for the week, or perhaps day, before we leave. We'll be arriving Wednesday evening and staying until we wear out our welcome, just like every year. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and hoping to see a new Tim Horton's somewhere near the camp.
