I stopped at the Canadian Tire in Oromocto NB to buy my fishing license and saw these in the display case.

Check the price in the second pic. It is cheaper than a lot of places I've checked.

One of my local CTs stopped carrying ammo altogether, the other one has maybe 20 boxes of ammo on 2 shelves. No guns of course.

If and when a local CT starts carrying guns, i will buy one just to show my support.

Wow that's neat. In Toronto they don't sell anything firearm or ammunition related. It sucks. I went back home to Sudbury for the long weekend and I was in heaven. They had great deals on ammunition.

My nearest Canadian Tire has been selling firearms but nothing like a tavor or an sks! Though they do have a deal with the local shooting range where the members of said shooting range gets 15% off on any ammo purchase. Fun to have when your planning on stocking up on ammo.

There's a CT in quebec city i popped into the other day, display cases are all set up, first shipment of firearms slated to arrive next week.

The Canadian Tires around here sell a little ammunition but it's been a long time since I've seen any firearms.

Tavors in Canada only come NR. 18.5". Thats a big reason they are so appealing.

No 9mm
I ask every time I go in. Told me they weren't stocking anything for restricted. Too much trouble and extra training for staff etc.
But they do have a bloody good selection of NRs and a great big catalogue. "if its in the catalogue, we can get it for you". The prices are better than youd expect as well.
The bugs are really bitin on the Base.......just sayin

Hey so if they're selling SKS rifles, does that mean they carry 7.62x39 now? The CT by my place is gearing up to carry firearms, they claim they're expanding their inventory to compete with Target, which makes sense.

Only ammo around here and a lousy selection at that. The CT in Yarmouth has an outdoor section that is supposed to be quite good with lots of firearms (so I hear).
