Backpackers now in stock

Those shotguns are very low in the chain food but they are functional, i bought this one to leave it with a box of 00 buck at my LaTuque cabin, in case we need it in the winter while snowmobiling @ 149.00 they are worthed for that, would not leave my M4 all winter at the camp... JP.

My friend and I had both ordered one, but my friend ended up going to the Burnaby show this weekend. Picked up our Backpackers and saved on tax. Comes in very oily. My friend's has unmatching wood colouring and ours have a few dents in the wood. Sorry for the crappy picture.

The checkering is new.....They should have invested that energy in a front sight pedestal!

How did you "save on tax"?

I got two also! They were different! One was like the pic above checkered grip and forearm. The other one had checkering on the forearm and missing the checkering on the grip. It could have been built just before lunch time hit haha.

Does the pistol grip still feel "fat" in the hand? I took a grinder to mine, then a sander and hand sanding to make it more comfortable.

I know they told me these were 5.6 lbs... but without a scale, that doesn't help me a whole lot. Can anyone compare this single barrel shotgun to the DA Outlaw double barrel? I want to know if this is actually light enough to be considered a backpacking gun. Thats initially why I bought the Outlaw but it turned out to be quite a bit heavier than expected, so now I keep it just so people freak out and say "Thats a sawed-off. That's so illegal!"

It's about the same as the outlaw its very close. The big advantage is the hammer is less likely to hang up on something it's thinner to carry. Its more about bulk then weight between the 2

even the borto Hiker (410) is very close to the same weight it's a little less but really not much.

It's been over a week since I ordered mine through my CanAm "wishlist" but still haven't received a confirmation that the order has been processed. They must be very busy.....

Thanks for the comparison. I'll save $150 towards the next next sweet combo they come up with :)

I ordered on Sunday still waiting as well. I figure with Monday being a holiday they were closed take 1 more day after that to catch up with all the orders at the gun show ect I think it will ship Friday or something who knows.. I would just drive down and pick it up but they have a no walk in policy so I just got to wait...
