Dude you were attacking someone's mental acuity, and almost spelled "stupid" wrong.

Define irony!

Daniel don't you have another T97 thread that you're supposed to whine about your CZ858 in? Don't clog this one up with #### too.

Thanks.

How about we keep on topic? With that, I did get to handle the T97 at a store this weekend. I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. Ergonomics on it were awful...but it is a cheap bullpup and non restricted so it'll sell like hotcakes. Unfortunately, I was comparing it to the Tavor which is night/day above it in feel/handling/materials. I'll still get one...but I will admit I'm going to beat the livin' "you know what out of it". Just 'cause...

For those looking to cut their teeth in the bullpup world, what more reason is there?

I don't doubt the ergs are atrocious, but the price point makes that easy to overlook.

I simply cannot wait to get my banana hands on one.

I completely agree.
I am looking forward to hours of enjoyment out of this.

Oh don't get me wrong...I plan on banging out many rounds out of a T97 also...just trying to let those guys who think this is a Norc version of a Tavor know that it isn't...same type of dimensions but quite a different animal once you have to do anything besides pull the trigger. It's going to take some getting used to.

People use to fight and win wars with nothing better then a small cannon on the end of a stick...

If you cannot learn or teach yourself to use this effectively...try using a PlayStation 3 instead from now on.

The ergonomic shortcomings are not completely apparent to me. Can someone list some of them please?

- It lacks 18 rails
- It lacks the ability to easily attach your cheap knock off accessories
- It is not "easy" to put a red dot on it for your hand holding shooting skills...real men use irons!!!
- It is too light weight and compact...therefor you may lose it easily
- It doesn't cost $3,000 to impress other CGNers how loaded you are (this CAN be fixed buy buying 10 of them tho)
- It is not used enough in movies/games and in turn becomes harder to tell people you have an "assault rifle" to impress them as they will not know what a
T-97 is
- mag changes and the selector switch are not on the "normal" placement as refereed to people who only shoot ARs...learning new things is JUST terrible and not tactical at all.
- THe gun does not come in Tan...I know that is stupid, Canada is practically a desert!!!
- TDC does not approve!!! ...or is that a selling point?!
