The Anschutz,Cooper,Sako,Walther,Krico,Weihrauch...You get the idea, picture thread!

not a very lively thread, must be few of these in the country, or this thread has been relegated to the tacticool iron, and guys are over at rimfire central.

Rem40x (1956)

Have original stock but it shoots better in bedded Robertson

Tried some Midas + look how 5 shot groups started tightening up after barrel was getting conditioned to the Midas ammo, I started groups at # 5 going up then down the left side, last group was on lower right target at 100 yards. best ammo I have used

Here are a couple of pics of my 40x.

Had my Winchester 52B Sporter out for gophers yesterday. It is from the first run of re-makes Winchester did starting in '93 I believe. Browning offered this rifle as well a few years before.

This is the first nice .22 I ever bought and paid $680 for it new in '93/94. The gun is still my go to field rimfire and has probably seen at least 30,000 rounds, it continues to shoot very well. It loves Winchester Power Point's and will happily keep them inside 1/2" at 50 yards. Bolt knob has no blueing left and the stock has numerous use marks on the wood but it's earned every one of 'em.

Love nice rimfires!!
Here's my very accurate 40X.

My Jim Williams Suhl 150.

541T Early production sporter. Accurate enough to win me a 100M benchrest first. :)

541S [Scrolled] also a truely accurate rimfire.

Regards, Eagleye.

Eagleye, that Suhl still has the grandkids id # on it!!! When you want to sell it, let me know!!!!

Yes, Dizzy, it has!!
I purposely left it on.

I also have several original targets that were shot as the rifle was tuned.
The job was done right, if performance is any indicator. :)

Here's a 50M BR target shot with it. 5 shots on each bull.

Regards, Eagleye.

Here's my baby.

I'm currently shooting RWS R50 (for matches) and Rifle Match (for practice).

Not a real fancy one like those posted here but it gets the job done. Here's a nice 5 shot group from yesterday shot at 100 metres. The rifle is an Anschutz 54 Match action/Lilja 26" barrel/ Harrel tuner and a Leupold Competition 45X. Ammo used is Eley Match. Final group size is .357"

European but not a bolt action, here is my semi-auto Heckler & Koch Mod. 270.

Was doing some ammo testing and the best groups were with CCI Mini-Mags HP (bulk pack 375).

Works out to:

1. 0.383"
2. 0.365"
3. 0.341"

This was at 60 meters with mild crosswind and I forgot my shooting bags so I was using wood blocks covered in carpet as a rest.... Ontario people will know where I was shooting. =)

Will try some competition ammo after I get my hands on some. Eley Tennex EPS or Lapua Midas should improve performance.
