The tantal isn't the new rifle. The tantal is an AK variant. If the AK wasn't a named prohib, the gun would be restricted with its original barrel.

Trigger Wholesale has a gun up for approval. At one point it was going to be called the Canadian Sporting Rifle or CSR for short. That name has been abandoned due to plans for international sales and it is now called the Interarms Model 2013 Sporter.

It will take AK mags, AK furniture but have different internals which will keep it from being deemed an AK variant allegedly. Will be chambered in 7.62x39 and 5.45x39.

Meant the Type 97 was a red rifle. The Trigger Tactical gun will simply be a modern red rifle look alike if initial reports are true.
