who was the dealer bringing in german hk45?

Yess now I remeber! thank you thank you! have any of you ordered it? is there any quality difference in german and us made HK45s?

Should I even bother calling them....? I want one!!! How does payment work on these preorders? Do you pay full price up front or monthly till the gun gets there? And just out of curiosity anyone get the LEM model? If so why did you go for LEM? For what use?

I have the LEM coming along with the parts needed to modify it for the "light" LEM. I went with the LEM because I already shoot Glocks and M&Ps and figured I don't need to start thinking about an added mechanism to disengage. Plus I drank the Pistol Training/Hackathorn/Vickers kool-aid :p

I gave 250$ and paid the 2 xtra mags.

You can call them, but the preorder was 5 months ago..... I think it's too late

Thanks for the link. I'm fairly new to shooting I have the sig 226 tacops and m&p9 both different...still not sure what I like. If possible, are trigger system on the hk45 changeable from LEM to regular da/sa pull? How difficult would that be?

I know it's possible to change from SA/DA to LEM as long as you have the required parts kit. As for difficulty, I guess that would depend on how handy you are and if you have the proper tools. Here's a link to instructions converting a USP to LEM, and from what I can tell they're very similar to the HK45.

sjohn, judging by the interest of the pre order I am willing to 'guess' a few extras were ordered by every dealer who's bringing them in. call and find one, it shouldn't be hard.
 
FN Sports is bringing them in.. pretty much every major dealer in Canada who buys from them will have some for sale. The big volume dealers have a few dozen pre-sold (each) and most will probably have a few extras that will be for sale at the beginning of next year when the shipment arrives.
 
I've got mine on order plus 3 extra mag's

Only problem might be, I've read that HK USA won't recognize the German made ones if there is a warranty issue (anyone know for sure?) I guess they'll need to be shipped back to Germany.
