Has anyone ever asked magpul to make lar magazines?

Magpul already makes a 10 round rifle PMAG, unfortunately they are not made explicitly for a pistol.

And as stated, Magpul has already been approached on the concept of making a "LAR" type mag, and has refused to accept the project.

CAA accepted the project, and their products have seen just as much battlefield and soldier use as Magpul has. Isreal isn't exactly neutral.

They do NOT come apart, the base plates are thermally welded to the body.
If you need to clean them, the dishwasher works well as does the old school method of soap and water. The stainless steel spring will NOT rust, so no worries there.

Is having the bases thermally welded to the body normal of all CAA Magazines? How do you change a part if needed?

I'm glad to see a Canadian maker of mags. I order some of ATRS mags a few days ago - thanks for bringing that to market.
Too bad black mags are the kool-aid, cause these would be extra cool in green:rockOn:

I just got my AT15 mags from Alberta Tac today. Shipped from Calgary to Thunder Bay in 3 Days. I am taking my kids out shooting tomorrow if the weather holds up. I will post a review on them when I get back.

Or you could just support a Canadian dealer, who is on this site, that makes/sells 10/10 polymer mags, that look like 20 round mags. They contacted Magpul, were rejected, and got CAA to do it.

Thanks you Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply.
I sent them an email last week to order 10 of these things... no reply yet. :/

Wow this is great news first I have heard of this. Anybody have pictures of them inside a firearm,

Kids and I shot another 400 rounds tonight. All working Good now with the notch cut in the back of the mag.

Holy crap those look great! Any chance of having some made that are compatible with the Tavor so we don't have to modify them???

I use them in the Tavor no problem. I did square out the back mainly because they wouldn't allow the bolt on my AR to hold open on empty. What modification are you worrying about for the Tavor? Squaring the back up took about 10 seconds with an Xacto knife.
