Quarter ribs?

Anyone sporting rifles with quarter rib rears other than remingtons? If so whose make are you using?

Ruger did them best. Integral to the barrels as well- not simple to manufacture.

Is that a .300/.375 pairing? I love those Magnum Rifles. A large step-up from a regular M77, that's for sure.

Yea that's a .300 and a .375, serial number 01234 for the .300 oddly enough, since sold. The .375 remains literally the only hunting rifle I use.

She's a beauty, the Sako, lucky you found it. And come to think of it I can't think of a quarter ribbed Remington either. Perhaps he meant full rib, like the 673?

I have a Ruger RSM .375 and a #1A 7x57 with quarter ribs. Never saw a Remington with one that I recall.

yep, something like this, an 88,

rebarrel to 7X57, new stock without sling slots, and redone sights etc, etc.

The sling is the Safari Ching Sling made by Galco International. That particular sling I bought from Gun Site and its embossed with the raven logo, but the later ones I bought from Galco aren't.

I am experiencing lust like never before right now. The RSM is hish on my long term "to buy" list. How did you manage to split up such a pair?
