My Little Pony 1911 Grips

What about Nurse Redheart?

Alternately, one could have their GF/wife dress up as her...but I digress. Alternately, Twilight fans could have her likeness/cutie mark incised onto a set of purpleheart blanks, Pinkamena onto tulipwood, etc.

So a buddy of mine who knows I'm a shooter says to me "there's this guy at work who's totally into guns but also My Little Pony"... there can't be two, can there? :D

Mebe :)

Is your buddy English, does he live in Airdrie and like Jeeps, is he a young guy fresh out of college, is he Indian and really good at math, bald Pakistani guy who spends lots of time at the gym, or is he a mid40s, white, ex rms-clerk from the CF? I've taken a lot of folks from work shooting, and my little pony tends to come up as a topic of conversation...

I should add I did like a lot of Harble_the_cat's posts. Back when his Avatar was the cat with the watermelon helmet at least. That was before the my little pony fetish stuff. Kind of odd at the very least.

Hope the grips work out of you. The good news is you can always change them later.

Hey--I've got a Minion as an avatar...

MLP is actually not a bad show. The characters are charming. And this woman does Twi's voice:

As for future removal of grips, go easy on the Loctite...

Aren't the LEO's still looking for someone who was/is CF for a murder who is one of these "Bronie's"? They found a cache of weapons and ammo that was buried in a secluded area. The container was CF issue and plastered with My Little Ponies stickers, and if memory serves, one of the weapons cached is linked to a murder.

This happened a while back (mid Afghanistan?) and the reason the story stuck with me was the whole "Bronie" aspect of it. On reading it I found it kind of odd that there are a group of our Reg Forces guys with this cartoon sh1t plastered on their gear while representing Canada in a foreign country. I think the story said something about a mechanism for combating battle fatigue or something of that affect.

No, he's a really little white guy, late 30s, software developer. I don't think he's gone shooting with you; the two of you have just talked firearms (assuming it's you).

So I made my "I had my guns confiscated by the police and all I got from it was this lousy" Norinco 1911 even MORE wonderful than it already was....

Talk about eye candy!

I was in the States for a week, and the next door neighbour was picking up my mail... sometime during the week, a package with the two grips I ordered a few weeks ago.

I was hoping to make my 1911 20% cooler by having a Rainbow Dash grip - but instead opted for this wonderful pic of Fluttershy:

Fluttershy%20(2).jpg

So I printed it out in on a normal sheet of paper, scaled to 9cm x 15cm. My printer is a $5 POC I got from a garage sale, so the quality was quite poor... but this was more a proof of concept than anything.

Here is how it all turned out.

I think I'll print out some glossy, high def versions, tweak the size a bit, and be a bit more discreet about the tape. All in all, for something I threw together in about 15 minutes - I'm pretty pleased!

I can't wait for the next IDPA match :)

I could possibly be the biggest redneck on this entire forum and I see nothing wrong with Harbl's fascination.

Harbl, for the next time, and to avoid seeing your cut marks, try to cut the picture the exact same size as the panels and drill some holes out for the screws.

Anyway, I came for the butthurt. It was here in spades and it was glorious. :D Love it when you make these kinds of threads, harbl. With them, you have personally had a hand in bringing up dozens of unknown peoples blood pressure. Kudos

Thanks for the tip, the problem was some of the print puts we're too big, and cut off too much from the original picture or blurred the image.

Although it does look pretty neat when you load a mag and can see the rounds through the grip.

What is it with you retards?.....personalizing your guns with all this stupid garbage....are you men or friggin children?.....pimp this....murder out that....grow the hell up!....you park your stupid looking wannabe 1911 next to me @ the range and I'll dump my coffee on it.....ya wanna attract attention to yourself....that should do it.
