A friend, great shooter and former IPSC champion, Nick Manioudakis, passed away on August 15, of a heart attack. He leaves behind his dear wife, Mary, and his beloved children, Zach and Fay. Nick will be deeply missed by his coworkers and his many friends in the sporting goods community.

I was with him two weeks ago at the World English ICTSF at Galt. We had a great three days. He did complain of chest and heartburn on the Saturday. I kept telling him to see a doctor and watch what he was eating. He was a great fun guy that brought Beretta's Canadian operations to #2 in sales increase for many years. He was a great IPSC shot and could also hit clays very well. He did all that he could to satisfy both the wholesale and retail customer. He is already missed by all who knew him. He will be impossible to replace!

Holy #### I just talked to Nick a couple days before that about some Sako stuff he'd sent me!
Nick was the first guy I really looked up to in IPSC when I started shooting. He helped build Production in the first few years and was a huge supporter of it. I am absolutely shocked and saddened to hear of the loss. Best wishes to his family, friends and coworkers. He was a great guy and will be missed.
If anyone could where to send cards, flowers or donations that would be much appreciated.

Still can't believe it...

It did make me think back to some of his finer moments though. Funny guy...always laughing.

Who remembers the infamous Stoeger gun give away at the Barrie Nationals? Classic Nick "Brand new...never fired...only dropped once"

All these years later...still the best ever awards banquet moment.

RIP Nick...

My favorite was his response to the "tropbies" we got at the Edmonton Nationals for production division. We used to laugh about that whenever we talked.
