Good job, though there's not much "wild" in that one. You got a Hutterite colony nearby? Looks like maybe one of their escapees. :D

My thoughts exactly. :) Also exceptionally large, most domestic pigs get the chop at about half that weight. Wouldn't expect it to be good eating, especially if it's an intact boar. Thinking he's been through at least one winter, looks like the ears are partially frozen.

Congrats on the bacon, that's a prize hog. I like to mix it with deer and make deer/hog link sausage.

I don't see many that "pretty" in the swamps down south.
