Good show, just love the .300Blk, its such a great caliber.
Will you be stocking the ammo?
or its going to become the next 6.8SPC.....and fall into the large bottomless hole.

any chance you can do a side by side for 2 rifles with the same length upper, one with the car stock completely compressed and one with the standard stock.
im just curious how much OAL you actually save.

love the look of it..makes me want a 7.5" next...

Freakin LOVE how that looks. :D Now all they need to do is offer this configuration in 300 Blackout.

The 300 Whisper has been around for about 25 years so it is unlikely to disappear now. The BLK is just the SAAMI spec version of the Whisper.

i am definitely interested, but as mentioned about,...I need ammo in bulk to start off with until I have enough brass to start reloading. preferable subsonic ammo

If you have a large amount of .223 brass it can be re-sized to .300 Blackout. Here's one example on youtube.

Minor thread hijack but once I free up some funds I am interested in doing up a Savage rifle in .300 Blackout.

NEA making a 300blk is excellent news! Although I question their logic in choosing a 12" barrel length...... Perhaps they decided to exchange ballistics for what they assume an uneducated consumer would want? As soon as there's an 8" factory option, I'll be buying one!

There will be shorter barrels available in the future. We'll be releasing them with the Canadian Legal mini cans etc shortly.

There has to be a better way to describe the CDN legal mini "device". There is nothing fake about that thing. It just doesn't reduce sound.

Very true. They aren't fake cans, they just don't reduce sound. Everyone will see when they are released shortly.

They make a 7.5" which for all practical sakes is the same as an 8". I am told the 12" length was chosen for a specific reason and wasn't the result of ignorance of the caliber.
