Great job bringing this to BC! I can't make it to the first match because it's full and I have to work anyways (but hope to make it to future matches.
One question after seeing the Ontario videos. Will we be carrying pistols with empty chambers and have to chamber a round after drawing from the holster? I don't understand the logic behind that.

Yes we will be following the no live rds in the chamber on pistols and for movement with the rifles. The logic behind it is to open it up to people that have no formal holster and/or fire and movement experience in a safe manner not only for themselves but also for eveyone else.

I ran a CQB here at Dundurn this summer and found that the pistol caliber JR has a serious DISadvantage, it won't lock back on last round. So you have to change mags, cycle the action, and any speed you've gained on recoil is gone.
Can the bolt be locked back?
I'm in but I better grab a Safariland ALS or something quick...no kydex pancakes allowed eh?
Negative. Action forward then mag in. Only takes a fraction of a second to #### it.
I don't mind kydex as long as the pistol is held in tight and won't fall out while you are moving. If your pistol falls out of your holster I will disallow the holster for the rest of the match. So better off just to start with something you trust.
