Just in time for the wet winter months out west and the ice and snow out east, the world's most rugged hard-use combat shotgun has come back into stock here at Wanstalls! The Benelli M4 is the official semi-automatic shotgun of the US military, spearheaded by the USMC acquisition of the first M4 Super 90 shotguns in 1998, designated the M1014 Joint Service Combat Shotgun after a tough competition hosted by the US Army on behalf of the US military. These have been used and abused and tested and retested in every theater on the planet, having been carried into harm's way by Marine Corps and Army personnel in Asia and Africa and used in rigorous training exercises in the arctic, Australia, and the jungles of Latin America... the result is a refined, durable design that you can count on no matter what the environment!

Oh you have got to be kidding me...just when I thought my Shotgun collection was done...ah what am I saying, it'll never be done! That's a great looking shotgun...it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine, lol!

The mag extension tube looks better without the crimps in it. IMHO. What is the difference between the crimped and non crimped?

Glued? Plugged?

do you know if a comfortech will fit on this gun I would love to trade my collapsable for a comfort tech stock or buy on straight up

All M4s in Canada have the crimped magazine tube as shipped by Benelli to comply with Canadian law. The image we were given is a stock image from Benelli which is probably of the American market model.

You can buy an aftermarket straight mag tube extension for the M4.
Won't link here, but at least one CGN sponsor carries it.....

November 17th. "Can you please confirm that your M4s look exactly like the picture, with no crimp in the magazine tube? Thanks"

I'm curious to know also...

You can buy a 'non crimped' mag tube that will fit 5.9 rounds of 3" shells... which co-incidentally, allows SIX rounds (legally) of 2 3/4" shells.

Buy the gun from Wanstalls, and the tube from another sponsor, and you're golden. EDIT: To prevent MORE PM's... just search 'Benelli Extension Tubes' in the search tool... the other sponsor will be the first link!

Here's a pic (crappy cell i know) of my M4... trust me - the BEST 'tactical' shotgun on the market! Accept no substitute. :)

With the crimped one you can still load 7 shells of 2.75... Better than nothing, and it is true not a shotgun come close to a M4... Period ... JP.

No need to apologize... somehow I have tricked Gary into letting me talk about guns all day, so questions are always fine, someone just beat me to the answer today!

Cheers,
Daniel

For the uninformed... he means 5 in the tube, one on the lifter (ghost load) and one in the chamber for a total of 7.

With the tube I have, you can load 6 in the tube (100% legal as per CFC chief tech), one on the lifter (it's not in the magazine - also legal), and one in the chamber for a total of 8.
