20" AAC-sd rem 700, miculek brake, krg bolt lift, timney straight trigger, accurate mag, vortex 6.5-20 viper, weaver tactical rings, just did a quick shakedown this morning (-25....brrrr!) was doing 3/4 moa with some 168's I had lying around, nice and consistent.
P.s. I have a fantastic hogue overmold for sale!

Holy upside down pic Batman. You posting this from Australia mate :p?

Kidding aside looks like a fantastic chassis, and quite light for what it offers.

What's the handguard tube inner diameter? I wonder how well this will fit a bull barrel?

My xlr chassis fits a 1.45 barrel with no issues at all Loki

Looks good, do you know roughly what the chassis/stock weighs on its own? couldn't find it on their site.

thanks

removed australian pic 4 loki!

Lol, I got a chuckle when I seen this in your editing reason ;).

Neat, thanks Steve :D. No contact with the 1.45 barrel on the handguard with barrel whip?

Now has anyone used their folding mechanism? It looks to be a ACE folder. How does it lock up, any issues with looseness at lockup or shot?

Does it lock up when folded?

Kind of wish they'd do a proprietary folder that went with the flow of the chassis design better.

There are five screws, which hold the carbon fibre fore end to an aluminum collar, that do contact the barrel during whip. Xlr does have a proprietary folding mechanism that does not lock. I own two Xlr stocks and there are better built and engineered options available.

Sigh, and so ends my virtual love affair with this chassis :(. Thanks for the info, saved me some $$$$ finding out the hard way.

Hi Guys,

This issue of the barrel contacting the forend only occur on the carbon model?

How about the regular aluminum models?

Reason for me asking is that I am looking into the chassis for my Savage.

Thanks

You can file or mil down the screws to avoid contact, my point being that you shouldn't have to.
