So, I vaguely heard about the CZ-858 import problems, but is it confirmed that they are never ever again entering the country?
 
Wolverine is working with cz for the new cz 958. Same thing just made more stringent to Canadian laws. At least that's what I think it will be from what John atwwolverine has vaguely said.
 
Crap. Was it ever made clear what the problem was exactly? Last I heard it was still more speculations that facts.

Very entertaining watching all the goons getting so bent out of shape about this. Sure, it's a laughable price, but to get outright mad at the seller? Also laughable. Must be tough living your life if a wts add on CGN affects you so profoundly.

I really do want a cz Canadian addition. I would definitely pay over sticker price (since you'll probably never see one again and like everything else on CGN, it doesn't get cheaper with round count) would I pay 3000$ though? Absolutely not

I think it's crazy one of the most popular rifles in the country can get "disappeared" like that without anybody knowing exactly why. There shouldn't be a need for a dealer to explain the actions of the RCMP. They have PR officers for that.
 
We got the CSAs and soon the Century Arms (that are apparently good quality contrary to CA's reputation) that go for around 900. I really don't understand why people are willing to pay over 1k for a CZ. Poorer finish, non chrome-lined, the gremlin....Sure they all have their issues, but whats makes it worth so much more than its counterparts?

Frankly I think mods should delete ads that are ostensibly priced well beyond current market value and infract the user. EE pricing is often used as a yardstick for future sales and artificially inflating prices (grossly) just for attention or greed should be strongly discouraged.
