Hey thought I would share my carbine project with everyone. Havent fired it yet but will soon. Still have to cut thread on the cleaning rod and maybe down the road will take some material off the forestock area and refinish. Overall an OK job.

Well, you pretty much did exactly what my plan was a few weeks ago lol. Not quite as short as I planned, but the exact same idea. It looks awesome, right now i'm deciding what my next purchase would be and if it is the SVT I might have a few questions for you.

Love it. What's the barrel length?
 
Generally shorter OAL is better on horse back. Long barrel tends to hit horses butt and make it go faster then necessary, this is at least what my Grampa said. I believed him since he was one of the last man who used horses in modern war
