It's kind of a different beast than the one we are used to. Two different jobs, two different builds.

Agreed, with the above setup and price point, I rather be running the much proven Swiss Arms.

Lets see what Beretta and CZUB can offer us better, IMO Bushmaster is coming in way too late.

Choice is obvious when it comes to accuracy.
Other than that... I can't see where acr is better?
At least for xcr, you can quick change barrel for different calibre.
For bushmaster acr... It is advertised as quick change barrel, but they don't see coversion kits for different caliber?

The reason I want the ACR is the quality, It will have factory caliber conversions available but if you can't wait you can go aftermarket and get 6.8, 7.62x39, 300blk, 450 bushmaster, 50 Beowulf, etc built right now in a NR platform. what is available for the XCR in terms of calibers you can't get in the ACR? IMO If the XCR was 100% reliable it wold be good, but a manufacturer that sells parts kits to fix common problems with their rifles speeks volumes about the reliability.

I agree, I have owned every variation of the swiss at one time or another, but the ability to convert the ACR to 450 Bush or 50 Beowulf is where the ACR comes out on top IMO.

yes, the first shippment appears to be very large considering the number of online retailers offering preorders and local gunshops making lists for the rifles they have been promised.

I'm gonna wait untill the different retailers start offering incentives or price reductions to get more business before I pull the trigger.

I Run Guns says these are already for sale in the US. They may very well be the first to get them up here, and for less.

I'm also wondering which is better in 223 caliber xcr or acr and can you have 10 rounds in the xcr magazine how many rounds are you allowed in the acr and which gun do you think should be more accurate

You're allowed as much as a legal AR regular, pistol, or beowolf magazine will hold, 5, 10, 11, 15, they all work in the ACR

By far the ACR with the heavy barrel is more accurate than the xcr

how do you get in contact with them? they use to email me back right away when I had a question about a product before I ordered, now I have been waiting weeks for a response......
