I ordered one and it is supposedly on the way.Was gonna get the milsurp rifle package but money is tight this season.Just happened upon the thread and knew immediately I had better get on that train.
This is my second, my first one was the 91/30 but it will be great to have the M38 one as well......these suckers are becoming addictive.

My m38 shipped from Trade Ex today and it otta be here in about 8 days or so.
Got a Swiss K31 from them last month and it's a beauty.
Got a Mosin 91/30 hex from them awhile back and it's a keeper as well.
I like dealing with these folks.

Yup I like Trade Ex. i bought a Swed M96 from them and they were bang on with what they said it was. i would definitely order from them again and will if they get some more M38s at that price.
I ordered one from Frontier for the $249 for the first 50 but something came up so i will be cancelling but if someone wants i can see if they can transfer my order so one of you guys can take advantage of that price. PM me if interseted. First come first serve

Ya...I'm just not sure it will make it there with the shorter barrel...I may have to shoot it from a moving vehicle to get some extra velocity.

Yeah the TradeEx single guns 'sold out' within the first night. A buddy and I phoned in the morning and got two rifle son the cancel wait list. They were available with the package, but sadly I just may have too may milsups....if you can have too many milsups that is.

Ordered one from tradex and one from SFRC. Hopefully between the two one of em has an original m38 stock. I'll be keeping both regardless though.

If you get a M38 stocked one you will be one of the lucky ones!
I saw a lot of what came in and went out and only about 5% had original M38 stocks, a few were Tula 1944's and also a very small bunch were in laminated stocks. Not one was seen counter bored at the muzzle. They did put a good amount aside for the 5 rifle deals, so if you still want one this is your best option. All will probably be gone by the new year at the rate the orders were coming in.
