10/22 GSG 110 round drum mag from Blueline is here!

Blueline can keep it they said for years they where bringing them in then other venders beat them to it.

Picked one up from Blue Line this week, along with some goodies for my GSG 1911/22.
First time loading it was a bit of 'am I doing this right?', while the "unloading" procedure was just plain awesome!

Yeah I know, seriously why would we encourage a dealer who spent countless hours bringing them in legally and provide warranty for the product (Y) Instead lets encourage the others and then complain we have no good stuff in Canada :D

I will be ordering from Blueline for sure just waiting on more revievs to decide how many.

Purchased two last week and used them last night at range. Need both hands to load as per instruction video. Speed loaders will not work but loads quickly by hand. However problem I ran into is that both would not fit into my Ruger 10/22 takedown and Ruger SR22. I had to machine (draw file would also work) both sides of the magazine aluminum housing block that inserts into the receiver where it contacts the sides of the stock. It appears that the sides flare out slightly possibly to make it a tight fit up in the receiver. Other than this minor mod - that's why I only gave it 4 stars, using this new magazine for the first time was flawless. Works great did not jam once. I will repost Jan/Feb after I have used them in the cold and put a few KM's on them.

Got the one from Blueline today and have one other from before. There are some machining marks on the side where they removed a small amount of material right where you say. I will try and post pics tomorrow to show the differences.

Anyone run Blazer in the Blue Line version yet?

I'm debating one of these but I've got 10,000+ blazer in the house and I'd really like to be able to use what ammo I have and not buy ammo specifically for this one mag.

Some of the noticeable exterior differences of the magazines we are distributing are the markings which state the magazine is made specifically for the Canadian market and specifically for the Ruger 10/22 rifle. Some other physical exterior differences are that the alloy feed head is not removable as well as the alloy feed head is also a slightly different shape. Please note that these are the physical exterior differences that I can see in the office. I am certainly not an engineer!! Our company has been working with GSG for quite some time as most of you know developing this magazine specifically for the Canadian market and and we are very happy to finally be able to offer this product for sale. This specific magazine has been designed, manufactured, tested, marked and advertised specifically for the Ruger 10/22 rifle and the Canadian market.

Cheers,
Ryan

What's the difference with these Blue Line Drum Mags with the ones that were sold by other dealers a few months ahead?

Does this version have the same issues as the other versions, meaning is the BL version really picky with ammo types especially any waxed ammo?

I very much want one but I'm hesitant about needing to pick ammo specifically for this mag,

I'm in the same boat as you bud. My Blazer ammo wouldn't feed worth a crap so I bought some Federal 525 Bulk pack for it to try. Haven't got to try it yet with either mag though. I don't imagine the Blazer would be any better in the "Canadian" mag though. Sorry I don't have better news.
