Awe yeah guys, it is finally happening:

Timney Triggers, one of the biggest name in the world of aftermarket drop-in triggers for just about every long gun out there, is expanding their offerings for 2014 with new triggers for Mossberg ATR, Remington Model Seven and IWI Tavor rifles.

...

This announcement will put an end to several rumors and is especially welcome news for IWI Tavor owners. The new bullpup design has been an instant success but it has a relatively long, heavy trigger, even by military rifle standards.

All three new triggers will be popular as these guns have been solid sellers but generally have limited aftermarket support. And even though the Mossberg and Remington come with adjustable factory triggers, there is always room for improvement.

...

The Tavor’s trigger is a fixed, four-pound, two-stage trigger. While that might not sound like much it is a significant improvement over the factory trigger which has a revolver-like pull that weighs in around 11 to 12 pounds.

And while there are some homebrew fixes for the Tavor’s factory trigger, people will be more than willing to purchase a trigger that was designed from the ground up with a lighter trigger pull and predictable break.

Like the bullpup itself, the Timney Tavor trigger will run a price premium with its $353 sticker. But given the significant improvement it promises there’s no doubt that Timney will sell these to Tavor owners looking to get the most out of their rifles.

I am damn excited to have the American's doing Tavor stuff now.

Amazing. I wish I'd never installed a Timney on anything, because it's hard to go back. A bullpup with a Timney trigger would be pretty near magical.

Slowly eroding my 'I don't need a Tavor' mantra...

Thats great news but a little pricy il still get one though. Now we will just have to see if they work in our tavors, finguers cossed.
Geissele is also making a trigger for the tavor, it to will be 2 stage but with a 2 pound break or so they say.

I think il wait to see the reviews and prices before getting one though.

I wonder if it will work with the Israel made Tavors or just the US ones ?? I understand that the trigger packs have different dimensions, am I correct?

See I've heard rumours swirling since last shot show that company X or Y is making Tavor stuff.

This is the first one I've seen to give a hard answer with some numbers attached to it.

Even in the unlikely event that the Timney pack is not a drop in with Canadian rifles, I would hope that anyone with a basic tool set could bring the core 4lb components across to a Canadian pack.

My guess is that we'll get a release date a Shot. Remember that Timney doesn't export, so we'll need to start hounding their dealers/distributors here in Canada ;)

Nice !
I chopped up the barrel stabilizer and charging handle the other day to free float the barrel.
While doing load development and accuracy testing the trigger was tough to work with, take my money timney !
