New Outdoors Cards don't have the wildlife pictures and as you thought are utilitarian looking.
Personal info isn't raised embossed lettering anymore either

Yep - got my new one in the mail the other day. Kind of bland for sure compared to the old cards, Oh well - all in the name of saving bucks!

Kind of off topic....planning on doing a turkey hunt in Ontario this spring and I am from Alberta, do I need to get any type of card to get a license? In Alberta we have the WIN card...everyone including nonresidents have to obtain one.

Also off topic buty I have noticed in some US States the wildlife hunting permits have a "reciprocal" condition that permits "out of state" hunters to purchase permits at the same price as their home state would charge an out of state hunter... seems like a reasonable approach --- wonder why we dont see it in Canada? Or am I missing something?

Try entering your Postal code with no space in the middle.ex. A1A1A1 not A1A 1A1

.. wasn't the problem... received nice note from MNR saying postal code was entered in error during a previous renewal. Advised to resubmit.

I wonder what the new cards will look like given the out of country ownership and overall lack of funds in the MNR? They used to get creative and have different pictures on them - I miss those days. I've been looking at the same Turkeys for the last 6 years I think! My guess, is it will be very utilitarian. Any body receive the latest version yet?
