M17S - A bullpup reborn!

Ya i agree the Gen One is not a great looking rifle , but the gen2 looks beautiful. Nice that the weight is down a bit , and if they could improve the accuracy and trigger over the Tavor that would be a major bonus. I know there are new triggers coming from Timney , but just saying. Gas piston is great , but it would have to have over the beach capability's for sure.

Ill keeping my eye on this one as i am definitely in the market for a new black rifle and really on the fence right now.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 are versions of the bushmaster terminology wise. Bushmaster upgraded some functional stuff early in production.

I'd almost classify the K&M version as a gen 3, or just as the K&M version 1 to be clear.
 
Gen 2 looks like an improvement. Anyone know if this is gas piston and overall length? Theres a handful at GB and its tempting.
 
I know what a free floating barrel is. But, can somebody fill me in on what a " semi free float barrel" is ? I always thought either a barrel is free floating, or it isn't.
 
NR for sure?? I'm all over that!!!

I want a bullpup rifle (just so I can piss off a few more anti's :D:D:D - that's one of my hobbies!!) but I don't like the looks of the T97, and the Tavor costs a lot of money - more than I'm looking to spend.

If the price is around 2k I'd be in for one.
 
Id sell my T97 and my AR and just run one of these. I couldn't afford a Tavor anymore and the T97 is a bit ergonomically incorrect but I still like it. The AR is just for competitions. This could do both easily at a really decent price. Fingers crossed... wonder when a 2 year long pre-order waiting list will pop up on a sponsor site. Lol

Very neat. Interesting that he does not have it mentioned on his K&M Aerospace site.
