2014 SHOT SHOW: Double barreled guns. Really!

Will be awesome movie prop, also some guys might like it too.. A bit more firepower and the addition of spread are two things I would like. Kind of like a two bullet shotgun, with way better range and accuracy.

I'm gonna cut 2 cars in half and weld the fronts back to back. Then I'm gonna mount a swivel seat in the middle. The folks who make these guns will buy one. For sure. Lol. Question-if this double gun is a single handgun, wouldn't our laws limit the total capacity to 10? That's the beginning of 5 round 1911 mags. Just saying. I think the time/money they spent on this could've been used to make a new, good designed firearm. This is some Red Green stuff here. Sorry to be a bummer but this whole concept seems pointless, gimmicky and impractical.

can it use different barrels? if it does i would get one, have one barrel chambered for beowulf, one for grendel, hmm might need a three barreled AR for i can get 223 in there too

I'd say the p.o.a. for these manufactures is different than reality... They might sell sell a few though... Not to me, but someone.

Exactly why both makers are making two-trigger versions for the civvy market.

I went to google this and I still don't get it. There is indeed a lot of chatter about the double trigger.

The ar15 one I can see working, but the pistol's slide is joined together. If you had two independent triggers sears etc and it only fired one per pull per side would that either A) not cycle or B) eject unfired ammo?

Warning shots just go t a whole lot more expensive. If we thought there was an ammo shortage before, imagine the logistics involved in keeping one of these fed.

The Colonel would ask 'What's it FOR?' and we would shrug, since we wouldn't know either.

Are these as stupid as they seem? Is it just me, being a party-pooper?

Good for movie villains. That's bout it.

:D

this is like a bad episode of dragons den. i'm dumbfounded when i see some ideas that people throw their money into. just cause you can theoretically do something, doesn't mean you should

One thing you have to admit is that standing on the wrong side of those barrels the shock and awe factor would be at least x2!
