Berger Southwest Nationals 2014

My buddy Rad (Radowslaw Czupryna) just won the FTR Grand Agg!!! :dancingbanana:

This is his 4th F-Class match, and only the 5th shooting match he has ever been in!

he sure did an outstanding performance. I saw him shoot at Raton, if my memory is good, a 230 out of a 28 pipe. I remember him barely cleaning a 1000 with a scary dominant condition from the left. He engaged a full value at around 10-15mph and drop 1-2 points on 20 shots. When i saw is score, i was stunt !! Very good shooter.

Yeah Rad. Very nice guy, great shot and LOVES the wind. We had some nice chats in Raton.

Nice to see a new Record set.

Waiting on more details but it sounds like another US Record has been set... by a Canadian!!!!!

Congrats to Gerry W. Not sure what the lettering next to his Grand Agg score is but was a dominant shooter, I am sure it means good stuff. Looks like he was 1 Expert for the 1000yd scores... WELL DONE.

Congrats to all the Canucks....

Jerry

If you mean Rad's record, he's Polish with a green card. But, I keep trying to convince him to come up for a visit. There is a good chance he will shoot at Connaught this summer.

I hope everyone is ready for the Nationals this summer, as the lines will be full with Americans and other International shooters. The British will be sending a team for the Americas match, as well as several 4 man teams from the US. I sure hope the attendance cap gets lifted for our Nationals, or there won't be enough room for us to shoot it.
Cheers
Eric

I can also confirm that for the second year running the weather was perfect for road cycling. No sense having to get dusty on the range when you can ride for hours instead.

Les, you should work on creating some sort of biathlon type event. Except replace skiing with bicycling and 22LR with F-Open boomers. Mallets would be required.

Wheelgun,
Thank you for your posting pics, results and news. It was great to hear how well all of you were doing down there and
my congratulations to all for not just attending, but REPRESENTING so well.
Great to see a lot of that US bling come back home with you all ....
Hopefully everyone has made the travel home safely. Maybe others who had taken pics while down there could
share ,once they've unpacked .
Have lots of questions to ask about the range and conditions and will touch base with you all individually
over the next while.
US Nats in the fall will be "interesting" and it will be great to see more of our southern friends up
HERE this summer.
Regards
Gord
