Guys,

Now that these have finally landed, let's get some pics and range reports up ASAP!! Picking mine up on Monday but want to get others opinions and feedback.

Accuracy?
Reliability?
Fit/finish?
Likes/dislikes?

Pictures too please!!

Have to admit it was hard not buying one. I suspect it will only be a matter of time before I "need" one. So living vicariously for now..

I just realized I should post this in the MAIN BATTLE RIFLES section since it ain't a poodle shooter. :)

Im interested in the rear irons... How rudamentary are they? Also, where does the brass hit when it ejects? Same as the Swiss rifles? Hopefully no issues for lefties.... Videos I've seen show ejection around 2 o'clock...

Ive been holding off preordering one as ive been real busy upgrading my scopes herd but a few good reports would certainly make me buy one... It is a 308 after all... JP.

Are there any pics of the production facility where they are made? I would like to see information to get an idea of quality control.

Lol... They're a state-owned arsenal, technically only supposed to supply Fuerzas Armadas de Chile and Carabineros de Chile. I'd be surprised if they offered any private tours and photography would be controlled. I remember taking a boat tour of the Valparaiso harbor area and we were specifically warned not to take pictures of any military ships.. How do you think they'd react to someone taking pictures of their principal producer of small arms for the armed forces and the police? With that being said, some officially released pics of the facility can be found on http://www.famae.cl/english/

Sounds like Chile is just like Canada, their own manufactured firearms for their armed forces are prohibited in their own country...

Another interesting parallel between our two countries... In general, the military is supportive of the sport-shooting community, while the police is working on coming up with a definite proof that every empty brass casing that makes it out onto the streets kills at least 2 cops

The technicians are wearing blue coveralls with reflective strips, hard hats and they are posing in front of modern-looking buildings that don't look like rundown high school shops. Plus, they look well-fed. Those are all good signs, lol.

The CompM4S I bought for this setup is actually too high to use without some sort of cheekrest - even without the high/AR spacer.

This RSA sits much lower and I can actually have some cheekweld. Might go Micro H1 with 2moa dot...

Overall very sweet gun... can't wait to hit the range!
