Maybe this has already been addressed, but I haven't had a chance to look at the whole thread.

Ar15 rifles do not appear to be up for re-classification according to the RCMP release. What they are looking at is non-restricted rifles that have borrowed (or appear to have borrowed) technology from the AR15s. And realistically, not many will be re-classified. An SR22 is a ruger 10/22 in a shroud. Sucks for CZ owners.
