If we are going to start removing anything that scares the antis then don't forget to change the name of this forum, as I'm not a "gun nut". If we are to placate the masses, where do we stop?
 
We could have big girl panties made up with our logo and handed out free with the signing of a letter to an MP.

lets not get carried away with changing the name of the forum .

it was OK for five years but its time for a change especially now we are in a serious fight , it doesn't go well with "my evil baby eater owned by a law abiding citizen."

Hey B , its the whole thing that sound kinda the gimicky to me , not just the evil .

Lets hear some idea for replacement .

I remember in the early 80's when I lived in Red Deer Alberta being given a stern lecture by the head of the gun club, it went something like this,,,,,

"We want the public perception of this club to be a good one. Members must speak and act in a responsible way at all times with regards to this shooting sport. Always use the terms rifles, shotguns, pistols or firearms and NEVER use the term WEAPONS!"

He went on to say that it took years of work and good P.R. to get the club respected within the community but it would only take one negative event to ruin all that they had worked for.

I have to say that his line of reasoning made a big impression on me. The way that a group presents itself does make a difference whether we like it or not. Sure we can say that it is our "right" express ourselves the way that we want to (tongue in cheek) but is it in our best interest to do so?
 
In all seriousness, the above is true.
Why not just abbreviate the current description to just "Combloc and the Warsaw Pact".

How about Varmit (or replace with favorite Varmit) Killers. Covers the "These aren't hunting guns!" crowd. I have swayed many Anti's, PETA, well, they are just insane! :)
