The floor in the room where I reload is bare concrete. I'm looking to grab a mat that will be for comfort standing there the whole time. I had a U-Line catalogue in the office here so I took a look.

Found these, seem to be top of their line: http://www.uline.ca/BL_1752/Cadillac-Mats

Or I'm thinking about these "anti-fatigue" mats: http://www.uline.ca/BL_1751/Anti-Fatigue-Mats

What do you guys use? I'm not looking to cover the whole room, just a run in front of the bench. 3'x8' should do it. I want to stay away from a carpet, because of static and cleanup. U-line also sells an anti-static mat, I don't think it's worth it, thoughts?

I have a concrete reloading floor room also. I bought the rubber mats from Home Depot, the interlocking ones. They are about 18" x 18" each. I have a section about 8' wide in front of the bench. They work well for me and I spend a lot of time in front of that bench. The ones you are looking at would do the job as well.

I went to Walmart (although Can Tire has the same thing) and bought these pressed foam interlocking squares - each is about 2 feet x 2 feet. On package did my whole reloading area. I would go barefoot but socks or slippers work fine ... can tire has "floor tiles" various types that are padded, foam etc. You've seen the multi colour interlocking onces for kids play areas - same idea ... not to $$$

Been using similar to this for years ....

Yep, I did the same thing.. but to protect my laminate floor (I wish I had a garage with a concrete floor) and to keep spilled powder from getting in the cracks between the laminate strips.

I got the cheap interlocking foam flooring from Canadian tire. I was like $30 for 16 sq ft.

Go with the anti-fatigue mats. Wifey got herself a fancy one by the kitchen sink (and being married to a modern women, I spend a lot of my time standing on it as well.) I liked it so much that I bought one to put in front of my workbench.

1) Don't worry about static, it isn't going to ignite anything.
2) Anti-fatigue mats are comfortable, and they protect case mouths when clumsy fingers throw brass on the floor.
3) I really need to find/invent a brass magnet...

I have an anti fatigue mat, great for long hours of standing in one place, also tends to keep the case mouth from denting, if only I could keep the ones that fall from landing one inch outside of the mat :)

Anti-static could be useful if (a) you have problems with static (I don't, even in winter) and (b) you are using electronic scales

I have VCT over concrete. I used to use those interlocking foam squares, but I like to switch it up from standing to a high rolling bar stool. I now wear a pair of those crocs - they are essentially foam slippers.

Check this stuff out. I checked the Princess Auto site and it appears they are in Toronto so here goes. I have it in my reloading area, I copied the raised checker board style but I have the raised circle though and I use lab chairs on wheels over it to reload.

I ended up picking up a 46x93 length of this at home depot. $20 and feels good enough. I do have stools there too. If I need to get something better I'll try the anti fatigue mats. Thanks guys!
