Norinco 1911 government $299 SALE

, once you wear most parts out, from what I hear the frame and slide are hard as ,,,steal!! So you just keep replacing other stuff with nicer stuff, ;0) and your pistol keeps getting better!!

Shouldn't that say "once you wear most parts in" I really don't know how many 1000's of rounds you would have to shoot to wear out or break any Norc parts?? And the frames and slides just get better with age and use!

Steel not steal and I guess I could have said thet a bit better but yes the frame and slide based on some threads are (bullet Proof) but springs and internal part barrels bushings may need or you may want to replace! Love hearing some folks are already at 11000!!!

Anyone know if a 9mm replacement barrel could be installed in one of these?

would need more than a simple barrel change... me thinks it wouldn't be cost effective, I'd wait for 9mm 1911s if I were you (they are not in stock at any of the major retailers as far as I know but it's only a matter of time before they get re-stocked)

From what I've been reading on this site I've come to conclude that the 9mm Norcs are something to keep away from anyway, if you don't want to futz with it.

If I had the spare cash I'd buy one of these to beat on. Maybe try loading black powder 45ACP or some such silliness :)

As far as Norcs go, I have 9mm and 3 45's (2 or the 45's are unfired yet) and I have not had a hiccup. The 9mm's are stock with the exception of a polished feed ramp, the one 45 is extensively polished. I reach for my norc 9's everytime I head out for the range and leave the M&P at home. FWIW

how long would you guys reasonable hold onto one of these for me? my paperwork for rpal goes out today, i would be willing to pay asap

If only it was the chrome one. Then I wouldn't resist. Alas...

The chrome are only $50 more and have a fully adjustable rear sight. That's worth the $50 by itself. Plus you get all the extra dress up pieces like beavertail grip safety, etc. Not a huge Norc fan myself but they are hard to beat from a value point of view and the quality isn't bad.

We have had many requests for a 1911 deal from those who missed the big combo sale.

The ammo is gone, but we have a few guns left

details on our site

When you sell out, will you finally tell us how many pistols you sold? I jumped on the combo deal thinking it would be gone within days, then you had stock for weeks. I am not disapointed, I'm just shocked at the sheer number of combos that must have sold. It's simply mind boggling to think how many pallets upon pallets of ammo you must have had. Then the logistics of order filling, someone buys a pistol from the HUGE pile, you mark it, start a transfer then re-find the pistol in the heap when CFC is finally done with their side of things.

I wish one of the big dealers on here would film a small documentary. From step to step, from finding old warehouses over-seas, making a deal, buying in huge bulk, receiving, selling, sending. We all take for granted that our end of the deal involves a few mouse clicks then done without understanding how much work must go in on your side... or save the camera work and just let me have a tour sometime :)

This is a great gun, works flawlessly and if you wanna dress it up, buy a wrap grip from Zahal, looks great and gives you the picatinny rail for mounting laser sights for hip shooting cans off a rail - so much fun. Glad I bought the package deal when it was a round - shoulda bought 2...Oh and my Rpal took 6 months - ugh!
