So... does anyone else get right squirrely when they're waiting for a transfer?

Bought my Oracle today... And now I'm going positively BONKERS waiting. I wanna hit the range with it NOW dammit! BLARGH!

I don't know what's worse... waiting for my gun or waiting for the weather to improve enough to take the Blackbird out on the street!

I guess the wait allows me to buy more mags... and ammo. :)

Just be glad you're in Alberta and not Ontario. Your transfer will be done in 24 hours, over there you'd be lucky to have it in 2 months.

I'm in Ontario and every one of my transfers had taken about a day or two, tops.

Transfers never bother me.

But shipments? Shipments drive me up the wall.

There is no worse feeling that watching the tracking number for your new AR-15 hang around for days, and then see it abruptly shift to "delivered" while your sitting in your office. Some squiggly signature appears in the online info and you bail out on a "sick day" to secure your awkwardly abandoned rifle.

With instant access to information on almost everything... I have found myself much more impatient than I used to be. So yeah, squirrely is definitely one way to put it, once I've ordered and paid for something!!!!!

Hahaha, have you been tracking me or something!

The part I am finding the worst is waiting on parts to build and AR.... Because you essentially have a firearm in your hands that you cannot use without some little pic etc..... Hurry up Brownells!!!!

What's even worse is the waiting after. Bought two a month ago. Transferred in 2 days. Shipped and received 3 or 4 days later. Registration certificate so I could actually take them out of the house, 10 more days. Two new toys and waiting on snail mail for two weekends to get to play.

Weird, I did a transfer last week, started at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, by 9:30 am on Wednesday it was done, and they emailed me a PDF of the registration and statt so I could pick it up ASAP.

I think that every one of us made it one time or another..... Lol

transfers in ontario are fast if not the same day, along with att's, ive spoke with a guy at my local club and he sends stuff off and gets it back same day or early next morning all the time.

You don't need to wait until your reg certificates come to take it out of the house. Your ATT will cover you until the docs come.

I called the CFP to ask for an email copy of my new reg form. They told me that as long as I had my ATT, this would cover me until the reg came in the mail.

If you're at all concerned in the future, call and confirm. But this will be my routine from now on. ,
