How many, and what different calibers do you own?

I've got a sister in law whiter then your elephant and heavier then your tank. When #### hits the fan my brother will ride her into battle and clear my path
BAHAHAHAHA... thanks for the coffee out my nose!

I've whittled my collection down the all the cheap 1's to shoot!

"3. Who cares how many guns you have, this thread just seems like more of a bragging list than anything else. "

Yup.

Presently only use:

Hunting rifles: .223, .375 H&H
Hunting ####guns: .410, 12 gauge

I own more, but they're just curiosities and cycle in and out for fun as toys. 7x57 will likely gain a permanent place in my cabinet as the in between .223 and .375 cartridge. I have yet to find anything I can't hunt or suffer any limitations hunting with a .223, .375, and a 12 gauge however. A lot will depend how much you enjoy guns and tinkering, and how much you enjoy hunting, and which is your main focus. If you can afford to do both at length, all the more power to you and very enjoyable. I still have to focus on the hunting expenditure wise to everything I want to before I die.

I would never post online how many guns/calibers I own for these reasons,

1. Not that it really matters but its none of the RCMP/OPP's buisness how many guns I own.

2. Anybody can join CGN and if any good at computers, tracking you ISP and finding your address could find out how many guns you own and decide to take a few
off of your hands. (just saying....it could happen)

3. Who cares how many guns you have, this thread just seems like more of a bragging list than anything else.

Just my small change, with respect as to a small degree I understand what you're trying to say.

1. We're in a forum discussing hunting and sporting arms, they expect us to talk about them here at length and nobody is compiling lists of how many .250 Savages, or chambering in general, we own.

2. Living in fear of the boogeyman never suited me much. The risks are no greater than the people at Home Hardware or Canadian Tire watching which truck you drive off in after you buy ammunition.

3. We're in a forum discussing hunting and sporting arms, one must be prepared to note some actually want to do that here, and some are passionate about them and may own several.

Exactly!! If you are seriously worried about being flagged on a thieves list because you wrote down what calibers you own, you shouldn't be on this website period. Just being here more than likely means you are a firearms owner and in a paranoid world, you are in turn a target for thieves.

Can't possibly list them all, I have every lever caliber Winchester made except 4 and in modern calibers I have everything from 20-50 with few if any holes except the 27 cal and that is by design not happenstance. I will soon be one of the very few to have a 23 cal as well, actually several 23 cals. And if we're counting rimfires as well I can add 17 cal to the list.

Think this is right:

Interesting how most everyone on this site hates any form of gun registry but will still spill their guts at the drop of a hat:rolleyes:

:agree:

I was thinking the same thing.

So, just how does a list of cartridges, not linked to any specific firearm, posted by an anonymous user handle have any possible plausible link to any kind of firearms registry?
