I shoot a lot of different kinds of ammo in my 10/22 and Henry lever.
I find the Remington golden bullets are good shooters as well as cci in the plastic 100 packs.

What's everyone else like best??

never have any problems with this in my 10/22, and at around $50 for 1000 rounds at CT can't go wrong!

i would say cci standard velocity and minimags are top ranking.

my gsg1911 loves winchester m22's(see above), remington golden bullets (bucket o bullets and the 525 packs), and federal 525 value packs. it's alright with wildcats, but does have issues. i wish it didn't when i got it back when lebaron had the wildcats for 16/ brick!

I am curious, did your Henry manual have a line...in bold print...(that almost seemed like it was added in later somehow...like squeezed into new manuals) that said ""do not use CB Short ammunition"?

Mine did...and I thought that was odd, because 22 Short is exactly why I have so many tube mag 22's! I love the snappy little CCI HP varmint rounds. They work great in the Henry, and it holds like 20 of the little buggers...

My 10/22 eats just about anything in the stock box mag, with the aa922 mags it only seems to likes CCI Blazers, and with the GSG drum it eats Federal bulk (no wax coating/Blazers) and or Winchester target (555/333)...

Anything thats not Winchester.

My savage Mark II doesn't like Wildcats and bulk 333 ammo.

Federal, American eagle, Remington and CCI all bought in 50-boxes worked without a hitch.
