In short, the equipment exchange access permission is based on a graduating system. More access is enabled when a member progresses with more "positive history". Pay attention to the banner area. When your account access to respond to ads in Equipment Exhange is enabled by the forum, a banner will appear to alert you.

Permission to message the Ad creator (to buy or trade): the member must have a minimum level of activities in posting to the forum with positive content and time spent logging in. The account needs to be active by logging in and posting more than 3 messages to forum discussions over a minimum of 3 days or more.

Permission to create and post ad: the member must have already obtained a positive trading feedback from an existing member and have a minimum of 45 days of activities in the forum.

Q: I am a new member, how do I post an Ad?

A: New members with no trader rating and no history cannot post ads. New members must first gain permission to use the messaging system by meeting the minimum activities level. Then, they can buy or trade with existing members to obtain a positive trader rating, in addition to being at least 45 days old in the forum.

Q: I am a new member, I just completed my first deal but I cannot leave trading feedback?

A: A member who doesn't have any trading feedback cannot leave feedback for others. Once the member has recevied the first positive feedback, the system will determine if level 2 access can be enabled. If the member is eligible for level 2 access, it will be enabled when the member logs back in again. If a member can post and create ads, he/she can also leave trading feedback.
