We will be importing this rifle (along with the regular bolt action rifles) when they actually come to market in 12-16 months.

We already have discussed a NR version with them.

    Excellent to hear.

I am keeping very close tabs on this rifle already, Desert Tactical Arms, or Desert Tech now I suppose, has always impressed me with their quality and designs, and if this rifle follows suit, I will be adding another DT to my collection.
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

WWJMBD? What Would John Moses Browning Do?

That version is a select fire rifle, fits the books for the definition of what is commonly known as an assault rifle in my books.

    EXCELLENT!

He said it was gonna be available in 5 different calibers?

    I'm guessing:

    5.56/.223
    .300 blk
    7.62.x39
    7.62.51/308

    But what's that 5th?

    5.45?

Anyway, this looks like a VERY nice rifle to have. hopefully the price is good too.

So wait... The 10.5" is that a totally different rifle, or just a different forend and shorter barrel? Can you turn the 16.5" into that?

I know it's a long shot but is there a guess to the costs?
